The ingress, I suppose. [ Adam frowns because it feels like an incomplete answer. The leylines, Cabeswater had felt like it had an identity to him but he couldn't figure it out here, but he figured there must be some identity but how was he supposed to learn the language to figure out when he had barely managed at home? ]

No, not yet. [ Adam frowns, his gaze dropping briefly to his hands and then he tries to shake off the feeling, moving into the kitchen area since he probably wasn't showering right away now he'd at least wash his hands so he could grab some pizza from the fridge. ]

Can it affect you without Cabeswater?

[Or for that matter...if it does progress all the way to Ronan and he is Unmade, does the demon stop there? Will it go to Adam next? Could it affect anyone?]

[ Adam is staring at his hands out right, lifting a shoulder and briefly picking at cracked skin before he picks up a book to flip through and to try and think about his hands less. He hasn't much liked them since the day they wrapped around Ronan's neck. ]

I don't know. I don't think Ronan knows.

[ Adam reached up to touch the cabeswater amulet that was always around his neck, wrapping his fingers around it. As always there was a warm energy he felt from it, and something like the echo of a lost friend. He'd felt incomplete when he first got here, cut off from Cabeswater and the leylines but the amulet had helped and Ronan... ]

I don't know anything, Gansey.

Hopefully we won't have to find out.

[Gansey follows Adam's hand, curious about the amulet, but not asking anything at the moment.]

I'd be more surprised if you did know anything, considering we're out of our usual territory. None of the rules where we're from seem to apply to this place.

[Adam frowns because quite often Ronan has indicated its not all that different, just bigger... More powerful. But Adam still hadn't figured out much of anything since he got here.]

I guess so. [He dropped his hand away from the amulet, exhaling heavily.

This had all gotten rather macabre.]

[Not that Gansey would know terribly much--it's not like he was exactly tuned into the ley line.]

In any case, I'd like to find a way to extract it or exorcise it or extricate it--whatever, before whatever is constraining it right now stops. At some point, we should meet up with Ronan and Blue and discuss it all together.

[Adam gives a nod of agreement but he looks tired and unsure of anyting that he could say now. He looks down at his hands again.]

Yeah. Sometime.

[He feels exhausted and overwhelmed in full again.]
